Our Workshops include the following:

Substance Abuse Workshop Awareness Program : This seminar involves educating youth by offering Substance Abuse Workshop about the realities and devastation of drugs and substance abuse. The seminar increases awareness, initiates discussion and participation of students, parents and teachers in the prevention process.

Drug Time Line Substance Abuse Workshop Program : This is a wake up call to everyone using or abusing substances including alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, crack, inhalants, etc. The information teaches parents, students, teachers and addicts the stages that drug and substance abusers go through. It is the first step in understanding where a person is and how far along they are on the drug time line. It also helps determine how much effort it will take to get a substance abuser clean.

Hardcore Substance Abuse Workshop: Hardcore is a specialized workshop program that teaches kids who are actively using drugs and alcohol how to stop using and how to prevent relapses. Hardcore is a 4 phase Substance Abuse workshop and involves the collaborative effort of Alvin Powell , Law Enforcement, High Schools, and Parents all working together in the war against drugs.

Family Workshop: The Family Workshop is a Substance Abuse Workshop aimed at families which familiarizes parents with the first signs of drug using and abuse. Parents learn tips for talking with their child about drugs, etc. Parents learn to recognize Physical Signs and Behavioural gestures that are tell tail warnings that there is a problem. The Substance Abuse Workshop includes learning how to detect Drug Specific Symptoms that are related to various substances.
